Delete your account
Last updated [DATE]
You can delete your Pastime account and everything in it at any time. Two ways to do it — you don't need the app installed.
From the app
- Open Pastime and go to your profile.
- Tap Settings, then Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
By email
If you've uninstalled the app, or you'd rather we handle it, email us from the address on your account:
Email support@pastimenow.comSay that you want your account deleted. We'll confirm it's you, delete it, and reply to confirm — within 30 days, and usually within a few.
What gets deleted
All of it. Permanently, and it cannot be undone.
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile — username, display name, avatar
- Everything you've watched: episodes, movies, games
- Shows and teams you follow
- Your ratings, reviews, and lists
- Your notification settings and registered devices
What we keep, and for how long
Two narrow exceptions:
- Anonymous crash reports. If the app crashed on your device, that report isn't linked to your identity and can't be traced back to you. It expires on Firebase's own schedule.
- Records we're legally required to retain. If any exist, we keep only those, only for as long as the law requires.
Nothing else survives deletion. There is no soft-delete, no archive, and no grace period during which we could restore your account — so be sure before you confirm.
Just want to stop the notifications? You don't have to delete your account. Turn them off individually in the app's notification settings, or for the whole app in your Android settings.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, ask before you delete — once it's gone, we can't bring it back.
